Resume:

The overall purpose of this intervention is to contribute to the efforts towards diverse and inclusive societies in Uganda, where LGBTIQ+ persons can participate to their full potential. This would ultimately mean equality for all regardless of SOGIESC, including equal protection under the law, access to services, non-discrimination, and political and economic participation in society. Furthermore, societal norms and values would be inclusive and recognise a diversity of SOGIESC. The key factor in changing the situation will be the LGBTIQ+ community themselves. It is paramount that they find their voice and use it in regard to their local, national and regional communities and within their own LGBTIQ+ movement. This intervention has formulated three outcomes, which will contribute towards lasting improvements for the LGBTIQ+ communities in Uganda in the following ways: * strengthen of self-efficacy (mental health) * economic empowerment * OD * movement building
