Resume:
Objectives: 1. Strengthen the capacity of CSOs and establish an enabling environment for civic engagements on critical issues of national development in a COVID-19 context 2. Address the challenges to access to public information through evidence and coalition building for advocacy. 3. Strengthen collective voice and action to address risks to civic space in Ghana by giving CSOs a platform that “protects” them from the government and political actors’ direct offensive on individual CSOs or sections by taking up issues collectively Expected results: 1. Civil society actors have improved capacity for collective actions to influence effective and accountable implementation of the Right to Information Act in Ghana 2. Inclusive spaces for multi-stakeholder dialogues and actions are developed and strengthened at national and sub-national levels to advance civic space and action 3. Collective national advocacy campaign has been carried out on the Right to Information
